Paul Bonderson, Co-Founder and Former Chief Engineer, Brocade
Communications
At Brocade, Paul’s responsibilities included driving ongoing technology
strategy and market definition initiatives. He has nearly 30 years
of experience in the technology industry, spanning hardware and software
design, engineering management and product development. Prior to
Brocade, Paul held management positions at Intel Corporation, where he
managed hardware design and peripheral control development, and Sun Microsystems,
where he led I/O subsystems development, product qualification and hardware
and systems engineering.

Wayne Rickard, VP of Advanced Storage Technology, Seagate Technology
Wayne is chartered with understanding and influencing leading-edge technology
developments in the storage industry and interacting regularly with Seagate's
engineering teams. Previous to Seagate, Wayne was an executive at
storage networking pioneers Gadzoox and Emulex. In addition to his strategic
technology assessment and planning role at Seagate, Wayne is the chairman
of the Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA) technical committee,
and participates on the advisory boards of several leading storage companies.

Ernest Sampias, Former CFO and SVP of Finance and Administration,
McDATA Corporation
Ernie’s responsibilities at McDATA included worldwide finance,
investor relations, external reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley controls, manufacturing,
quality, information technology, business development, legal, acquisitions
and integration, software business processes and international expansion. Before
joining McDATA, Ernie held a number of senior executive positions at
several innovative business units of US West, and was EVP and CFO of
Convergent Communications.

Charles Smith, Principal, CHS Ventures
Since 1990, Charlie has been responsible for more than $2 billion in
sales in the storage industry. Currently an advisor and consultant
to several venture capital firms and startup companies, Charlie was previously
vice president of worldwide sales at Brocade Communications, where he
led its growth to dominant market share. He also held executive
positions in the IBM storage systems division and at Conner Peripherals,
Parallel Technology, and NEC. As chairman of the board of PERSIST
Technologies, a provider of application-centric storage software, he
led the company to a successful acquisition by Hewlett Packard.

Bruce Thompson, President, SanTech Consulting
Bruce has been in the storage industry for over 20 years and specializes
in technical analysis of SAN/NAS architectures, strategic planning and
business assessments. Bruce's wide-ranging areas of experience
include disk, tape and storage management software product architectures;
application programming; databases and filesystems; device drivers; and
new business development. Bruce holds several patents and has published
many papers on various storage related subjects.

Mark Tolliver, former EVP Marketing and Chief Strategy Officer, Sun
Microsystems
In his last role at Sun, Mark was responsible for product strategy,
M&A,
communications and branding, market development, ISV relationships, field
and industry marketing. Among his many accomplishments, Mark led
the creation of a new business relationship with Microsoft, resulting
in a landmark litigation settlement. He is the former president
and general manager of iPlanet, the Sun/AOL/Netscape joint venture which
delivered in excess of $1 billion in revenue over the three year term
of the agreement. Before Sun, Mark held executive marketing positions
at MasPar Computer and in Hewlett Packard's workstation group where he
drove the acquisition of Apollo Computer Corporation.

Andy Watson, Former VP of Strategic Technology and CTO, Network Appliance
In his technical leadership role at Network Appliance, Andy traveled
to and communicated frequently with leading customers worldwide to understand
their storage infrastructure issues, technology initiatives and application
growth plans. Based on his close interaction with customers and his extensive
knowledge of cutting edge storage technologies, Andy provided strategic
product planning expertise to Network Appliance. He is now actively
involved in developing relationships with independent storage software
vendors focused on adding value to enterprise customers and is a frequent
industry speaker.
